Cameron Hoerig received his BS in electrical engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2013 and MS in bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2015. He is currently working toward a PhD in bioengineering at UIUC. During his studies at Cincinnati, Cameron performed research in therapeutic ultrasound modalities. His current research lies at the intersection of ultrasound imaging, machine learning, and computational mechanics to develop a novel method of imaging the biomechanical properties of soft tissues.
