Denise is a first year PhD student in Bioengineering. She graduated with a B.S in Biomedical Engineering from Florida International University. She currently works in the Experimental Molecular Imaging Laboratory (EMIL). Her research interests revolve around finding non-invasive therapeutic approaches to cardiovascular diseases.  Her role as Treasurer is to organize, plan and support every event of Grad BMES acquiring the necessary funding. She enjoys rock climbing, hiking and CrossFit training.
